Association of Accountants and Auditors "Sodruzhestvo" (AAAS) is the international public organization. It was founded in 1989 as Association of Accountants and Auditors of the USSR. For these years the Association became well known and commonly accepted organization of academics and practitioners specializing in accounting, economic analysis and audit

Nowadays the Associations of Accountants and Auditors from 9 countries of the CIS аrе the collective members of the AAAS.

Under the support of the AAAS regional Associations of Accountants and Auditors in Ivanovskaya, Smolenskaya and Orlovskaya regions were created, and now they successfully work. The AAAS has its regional departments in more then 45 cities of Russia.

The Association is а founder of the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia, Russian Chamber of Audit and Regional Federation of Accountants and Auditors "Evrazia".

The Association of Accountants and Auditors "Sodruzhestvo" cooperates activelу with International Federation of Accountants, International Accounting Standards Committee. It is а member of  International Association for Accounting Education and Research, European Accounting Association, International Coordination Council on Accounting Methodology and Reporting of the CJS. The Association takes part in the work of International Center on Accounting Reform.
